Position Statements
Here you'll find links to the full text of more than 150 position statements by the Canadian Paediatric Society. Each statement is developed by an expert CPS committee and reviewed by our board of directors. You’ll also find links to guidelines developed by the CPS in collaboration with other organizations.
To find a position statement:
- search by topic if you are interested in a particular area of paediatrics
- search by keyword using the search engine (this will search the entire CPS website)
All documents on this site are current. Each year, CPS committees review position statements and recommend that they be either reaffirmed, revised, or retired. Retired statements are removed from the website. Position statements are posted after they have been published in our peer-review journal, Paediatrics & Child Health.
