Professional achievements and current responsibilities:  
Dr. Mitchell Zelman is a consultant paediatrician who has been practicing on PEI for the past 19 years. He is currently head of the Department of Paediatrics and Newborn Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and a lecturer with Dept of Pediatrics at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS. He also serves as deputy-chief health officer and medical director for the Patrick A Gill Asthma Education Centre.

Educational Background:
Dr. Zelman graduated from McGill University Medical School. He completed his residency at the IWK Hospital for Children, Halifax N.S.
