We are seeking nominations for the position of Scientific Program Committee CPS Co-Chair. The successful candidate will work with the IPA Co-Chair to oversee scientific content, select faculty, and help to develop an outstanding educational program for all participants . . . more
Interested applicants must:
- be CPS members,
- have a strong interest in global child health, and
- be able to commit their time and energies over a 3-year term starting in 2013. (See individual job descriptions for details.)
Submit the following to IPC2016@cps.ca by February 29, 2012:
- A cover letter (maximum 2 pages) highlighting your:
- interest in global child and youth health issues,
- experience in leadership and management in this area (e.g. planning committee chair), and
- ability to commit sufficient time over a 3-year term (2013-16).
- A letter of personal recommendation from another CPS member.
- A letter of support from your paediatric department head (if applicable).
- An abbreviated CV (maximum 5 pages).
Submissions will be reviewed by the selection committee and short-listed candidates contacted for a follow-up interview by phone in March 2012.
Please note: Selection committee members are not eligible to apply. Current Board members are eligible, but cannot hold their CPS Board positions between 2013 and 2016.
