Professional achievements and current responsibilities:  
Dr. Templeton is a full-time paediatric cardiologist providing tertiary care services in Newfoundland and Labrador , including a hospital-based practice at the Janeway Children's Health Centre in St. John's , as well as traveling clinics in several smaller centres around the province. Dr. Templeton also has an interest in paediatric critical care medicine and provides service in the PICU.

Educational Background: Dr. Templeton studied at Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) and completed cardiology training at the universities of Ottawa and British Columbia . Dr. Templeton teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level at MUN.
