Professional achievements and current responsibilities:
Dr. Henderson is a community paediatrician in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He is extensively involved in health care promotion for children and youth in Atlantic Canada, including services for children with behavioural disorders, PKU and diabetes. He served on the board of directors for the Atlantic Provinces Pediatric Hematology Oncology Network. He was appointed co-clinical chief (child) for the children and women’s health program at the Janeway Child Health and Rehabilitation Centre in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, in 2008.
Educational Background: Dr. Henderson is a graduate of Dalhousie University Medical School. He obtained his post-graduate training in paediatrics at the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital, the Izaak Walton Killam Children’s Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children.
