Professional achievements and current responsibilities:
Dr. Harvey is a paediatrician and specialist in adolescent medicine. She is currently the medical director of the Clinique multidisciplinaire de médecine de l’adolescence of the CSSS de Chicoutimi. This clinic, which she founded in 2003, provides multidisciplinary, second line services to adolescents with complex physical health problems or chronic illnesses. She is involved in teaching of medical students, interns and residents.

Dr. Harvey’s research interests include adolescent smoking, childhood obesity, eating disorders, smoking cessation.

Educational Background: Dr Harvey holds a master’s in public health, which she completed during her years of specialization (fellowship) in adolescent medicine at the University of Minnesota from 1996 to 1998.
