Welcome to the Residents Corner Newsletter!

Winter 2010

Happy New Year!

With the arrival of 2010 we would like to wish you all a happy, healthy and interesting year!

The executive of the CPS Residents Section has been working on several initiatives on your behalf.   We are looking forward to the CPS Annual Conference in June 2010 in Vancouver. This year residents have the opportunity to participate in a Clinical Case Competition.

We look forward to seeing you at the Resident Section Business Meeting where we will plan activities for the coming year, our session on Paediatrics in the Far North, the Resident Advocacy Dinner and  the Residents Social!

Over the past few months, our section has been piloting an electronic discussion tool: eForum. Through this tool and our revamped, expanded electronic newsletter, we are working to increase communication among section members.

In 2010 we plan to increase content and use of our electronic elective databases.  We will need your help!

Best Wishes from your CPS Residents Section Executive,
Sarah Waterston (President), Gillian Dolansky (Vice President), Ereny Bassilious (Past President)
