VP Call for Nominations - We want you! Annual elections are held for the position of Vice President which involves a three year commitment as Vice President, President, and Past President. The Vice President and President represent resident views on the CPS Board of Directors. Nominations will be accepted until April 30. Contact education@cps.ca.
CPS Resident Section Liaisons. Several CPS Sections have resident liaisons who provide a link between the subspecialty section and the Resident Section. Sections currently with Resident Liaisons are: Adolescent Health, Hospital Paediatrics, Community Paediatrics, Child and Youth Maltreatment, International Child Health and Sports Medicine. Watch for messages from the CPS Resident Executive regarding available positions.
CPS Vice President - Voting Privileges for Residents. Residents are integral members of the CPS and as such a change in the CPS by-laws in the next few months will entitle residents to vote for the Vice President of the CPS. This will take effect for the next voting period.
