Professional achievements and current responsibilities:
Dr. Robert Moriartey is clinical professor of paediatrics, Stollery Children’s Hospital, University of Alberta. He has been a community paediatrician for over 30 years and been involved in the teaching of residents and students and serving the communities of southeast Edmonton. Since 2010 he has been Division Head: General Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. Dr. Moriartey is also Past-President of the Alberta Medical Association Pediatric Section. 

Educational Background:
Dr. Moriartey graduated from the University of Calgary and completed his paediatric training in Calgary, Toronto and Edmonton.
