Professional achievements and current responsibilities:  
An interest in not-for-profit work led Ms. Davis to become a development professional for the Foundation of the Ottawa General Hospital. She was subsequently appointed to a number of roles at the Ottawa General Hospital including Director of Medical Affairs. Later she was named Associate Vice President of Medical Affairs at the Ottawa Hospital.

Ms. Davis has served as Executive Director of the Canadian Paediatric Society since 1999. 

Educational Background:
Marie Davis earned a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biology from McGill University. During this time she worked as an undergraduate in the Endocrinology Research Lab at The Montreal Children’s Hospital. Ms. Davis went on to complete a Masters of Business Administration at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
